I love it
Many weeks ago I was wondering the aisles of the local Asian market and I came across this product. I thought to myself immediately to myself "I have to buy this". My friend that was with me was trying to talk me out of it, saying that it was weird and that normal functioning members of society don't buy squid in a can. I ignored his advice and bought a can faster than you can say Orange Marmalade. Later that day, I showed my roommate and he questioned it as well. Nobody thought about the effects a can of squid might have on the world. Upon this discovery, I went back to the Asian market the very next day and bought another can of squid, This brought me up to two cans and I couldn't have been happier.

A couple days past and my friend Davebone ,the functioning member of society, talked about if I was going to eat any of it. I pondered and wondered about the taste. I mean on the can it says that it's in all natural squid ink and it's squid for crying out loud. Of course I'm curious what it tastes like. Later that night, I asked my roommate, Zane, for a can opener to pry open these bad slamma jammas. He was just as curious as I was about the whole thing so a stinky can opener was a sacrifice that had to be made. I cracked it open and instantly smelled the seafoodesque smell of the contents of the can. It smelled exactly as how I pictured it would. I didn't really plan out a place too put it so I just poured it out on my desk (not the best idea). I pushed everything around and saw all the tentacles and heads that once inhabited the can, It was pretty cooj. We had to try it so we both grabbed pieces the size of two quarters stuck together and ate them. It didn't taste appealing but it didn't taste like garbage either. If I had to rate it on a scale of 1 to 10 then I'd probably give it like a 6.5. Since that night, I bought more cans and have done things with said cans..........

During Christmas break from college, I went home and hung out with some friends. Each and every friend I hung out with that day was gifted with a squid can. They weren't really excited about it but they thanked me and reluctantly took it. We could be the Brotherhood of the Traveling Squid or something if we really wanted but that's lame so we didn't do that. Fast forward until like two weeks ago and we get another story. I was planning a special surprise for this girl I liked at the time. I bought flowers, candy, a card, and TWO cans of squid. I was thinking that it couldn't all be sappy and squid cans last a lot longer then flowers and chocolates so it made sense in my mind. Right before I did my special little thing, I chickened out and didn't bring the squid *sad music plays*. It wasn't all a loss though, like 15 minutes later I gave it to another friend as a token of my appreciation/ a valentine's day gift.

In conclusion, other than being an interesting conversation starter this product has been used as a valentines day gift, Christmas present, and like an anti Febreeze type odorizor, Keep up the good work and I'd be happy to buy more cans in the future.

Sincerely, Lee Dodd
