Puto Cheese
This is a delicious treat perfect for merienda, a charming and delicious snack. Serves 4 to 6.


  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • 4.5 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon iodized salt
  • cheese of your choice

Cooking Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients and beat until smooth.
  2. In a greased muffin pan or puto mold, pour in the mixture, top with cheese and steam for 30 to 40 minutes.
