PUTO GALAPONG

Ingredients:

  1. 6 cups of Galapong Bigas from rice
  2. 1 ½ tablespoons baking powder
  3. 1 ¾ cups refined sugar
  4. 1 teaspoon annatto seed
  5. 1 ½ cups coconut milk
  6. salted red eggs
  7. cheese of your choice, grated
  8. banana leaves

 

Cooking Directions:

In a medium bowl, mix the galapong, sugar and annatto seed. Add in coconut milk and beat until smooth.

In a muffin pan, lined with banana leaves, fill with mixture. Steam for 25 to 35 minutes. Just before their finished cooking, top with cheese and egg. Complete cooking.
