NILANGANG-BAKA

Ingredients:

  1. 1 kilo beef, cubed into 1 ½” cubes
  2. 8 potatoes, cubed
  3. 1 bundle pechay (bok choy), cut in two
  4. 2 small cabbage, quartered
  5. 5 onions, diced
  6. 1 head garlic, minced
  7. 4 tablespoons patis
  8. 3 tablespoons cooking
  9. 10 pieces of whole black pepper
  10. 1 liter of water
  11. salt to taste
  12. pepper to taste

 

Cooking Directions:

In a large casserole, heat oil and sauté garlic then onions. Add water, beef, black pepper and patis. Bring to a boil then simmer until beef is tender. Add potatoes. Simmer until potatoes are cooked through. Add cabbage and pechay. Cook a little while longer and serve hot in bowl with rice. No need to overcook this one.
