In a large skillet or wok, sauté the garlic and onion. Add the Ox tongue and cook. Add the tomato sauce, beef and water. Simmer for 1 to 1 ½ hours. Add water as needed.
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs Ox tongue, cleaned, boiled, skinned and thinly sliced
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 large potato, thinly sliced and peeled
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 piece beef, cubed
- ½ cup green onions, chopped
- ½ cup green olives
- 2 cups white mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 cup cooking oil
- 2 cups water

In a medium pan, heat oil and fry potato. Set aside potato. Sauté mushrooms in this pan and add oyster sauce. Set aside.

Once Ox tongue is tender, salt and pepper then add green olives. Simmer for 5 minutes. Serve Ox tongue alongside fried potatoes and mushrooms. Eat immediately.
