First, in a small bowl, combine 1 tablespoon cornstarch and 1 tablespoon water. Mix and set aside.
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 pound raw shrimp
- 2 tablespoon salt
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 medium Potatoes or heart of palm
- 1/4 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 cup grated carrot
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 1/2 cup cooked garbanzos

Then, in a large skillet over medium heat, cook pork until brown. This won’t take long. Then add garlic, then onion, then shrimp. Stir and sauté. Salt and pepper to taste.

Now add your potatoes, your garbanzos and your carrots. Cover and cook until potatoes are tender.

Finally stir in your bean sprouts and cabbage and soy sauce and cornstarch mixture. Mix everything well and cook for 5 minutes. Serve immediately.
